Eyonix posted a stickie on the official World of Warcraft forums today telling everyone that they do intend to put up another content patch before the release of the new expansion. You can find the thread here or read the quote below.

With the release of Wrath of the Lich King approaching, we wanted to provide you with some important information. In preparation for the expansion, we will be issuing a new content patch in the coming weeks. Much like the patch made available shortly before The Burning Crusade's release, this content patch is designed to bridge current game content with that of the expansion and will contain some exciting changes and additions.

We have outlined some of the larger features scheduled to release with the patch below:

New class spells and talents
Stormwind Harbor
Barbershops in capital cities
Zeppelin towers outside of Orgrimmar and Tirisfal Glades
Two brand-new Arenas featuring challenging new layouts, terrain hazards, and moving obstacles
Guild calendar
Hunter pet skill revamp
New profession: Inscription

As mentioned above, this is not a comprehensive list, just some of the major highlights. We’ll post the full patch notes as soon as they’re available. Regarding Inscription, please note that all Burning Crusade players will be able to select Inscription as one of their two professions and level up to a skill level of 375 with it. Upon the release of Wrath of the Lich King, players who purchase and install the expansion will be able to continue leveling in Inscription and the other professions beyond 375.

So you think you know World of Warcraft

Now it's time to start a new section, something that I hope to do alot of in the future. The rules are simple, just match that screenshot. I will pick obscure locations in the world of warcraft and take a screenshot without the ui or anything. These screenshots can be of anything that I wish, it could be something as inconspicous as a book laying on a beach or as obvious as the gates of Stormwind. A different prize will be given to the winner each weak, sometimes it may be gold, sometimes it may be something a bit cooler! A correct answer can be given in the form of a very clearly described location, a zone with a loc, or for a 'grand' prize, you can literally match the screenshot. If you plan on sending in a screenshot then you must use a image hosting site, imageshack.com comes to mind, and the screenshot itself must be almost (read: not perfect) dead on, which basically means you gotta be standing where I was standing and looking where I am looking. Each contest will be run for about a week, depending on the difficulty and the prizes involved. To start things off, we're going to be giving away 100g for anyone that can provide an exact description of the location of the screeenshot; however if you can actually match the screenshot there will be an undisclosed 'grand' prize that will be included with the 100g. The first person who describes the screenshot or provides a matching one wins. Now, on with the show!
